This message is for you—if you look like you’re holding it all together, but inside, you feel like you’re falling apart.
Hey friend! I’m Lauren, creator of MomFaithFumbles—a space for Christian women, wives, and mamas learning to walk with Jesus through the everyday mess and beauty of life. I’m so grateful to be here with the Coffee and Bible Time crew, sharing something that’s been on my heart. Whether your day feels peaceful or a little chaotic, I pray this encouragement meets you right where you are.
For the Woman Who Keeps Smiling While Secretly Breaking: Your Healing Starts Here.
Life doesn’t stop for healing. But healing still needs to happen. Some pain feels too deep to explain. You smile, hold it together for the kids, keep the house running, show up at church, and do your best to stay strong—but deep down, you’re tired. Not just physically tired—soul tired.
Maybe you’ve walked through some of these:
- The ache of loneliness even when the house is full
- The grief of miscarriages no one saw, pregnancies that ended before they began
- A marriage strained under the weight of disappointment or relapse
- Financial highs and lows that keep you in a constant cycle of fear and faith
- Bitterness you didn’t want, but couldn’t avoid
- The quiet doubts about God’s goodness that creep in during the night
I’ve been there. Not once. Not in one neat season I could wrap a bow around. But in a stretch of life that felt like wandering through the wilderness—where hope was hard to hold onto and healing felt like something for other people.
The Silent Battles No One Talks About.
Christian women are often expected to be okay. To be the strong one. To pray harder. Trust more. Keep it together. But what about when we don’t? What about the moments when faith feels far, when rejection stings, when the weight of motherhood, womanhood, and trying to do it all leaves us numb?
The truth is—God never asked us to be perfect. He asked us to be honest. To bring the broken pieces to Him, not hide them. To be clay, not the potter.

Healing Doesn’t Always Look Like Progress.
Sometimes healing means showing up anyway. Sometimes it means reading one verse and crying through the rest. Sometimes it looks like coloring in silence while your heart slowly starts to breathe again.
There’s no one-size-fits-all for spiritual healing. Some days you’ll feel strong.
Other days, the best you can do is hand God the pieces and whisper, “Help.”
And that’s enough.

Out of my own season of silent battles came something I didn’t expect: a devotional. It’s called “A Woman Once Lost: A 30-Day Coloring Devotional for Healing, Hope & Wholeness” . It’s for women like you and me—ones who are still in process.
Each day includes:
- A Scripture rooted in God’s promises
- A short, honest devotion
- A journaling prompt to help you reflect
- A calming coloring page to slow down and breathe
I created this for the days when you don’t have much to give—when you need peace but can’t find the words. When you feel like you’re falling apart. Some days you’ll read the whole devotion. Other days, you’ll just color. And that’s okay.
Healing doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes, it starts in quiet places.
If You’re In That Place, You’re Not Alone. This isn’t a quick fix. It’s not a pretty bow on hard things. But it’s a gentle guide to walk with you through the mess, the questions, and the healing—one page at a time.
